## **NEW: Fotokite API (Preview)**

The Fotokite API is a software interface that allows external applications and systems to interact programmatically with the Fotokite system. It exposes core Fotokite capabilities in a way that enables seamless integration, automation, and remote control by other software.

Overview

* High-level API providing access to core Fotokite functions, including telemetry data, video streams, and full system control
* Fail-safe by design: all commands are automatically validated and permitted by the system
* OpenAPI-compliant, making it easy for developers to adopt and integrate
* Uses HTTP (GET/POST) and WebSockets for real-time telemetry subscriptions
* Available offline on the local Fotokite network

## **Updated:** Control Handoff

It is possible to control the system from multiple tablets and even from other clients using the Fotokite API. Control Handoff ensures that only one client has control of the Fotokite system at any given time.
