This release will update the Wi-Fi software. Therefore the Wi-Fi connection will restart during the update. Your tablet will automatically reconnect once the Wi-Fi has restarted.

## **Fotokite Live for iOS and Android**

Our Fotokite Live software is now also available for iOS and Android. Fotokite Live on iOS and Android comes with several advantages:

* Longer battery life (up to more than 10 hours)
* Smaller form factor
* Increased screen resolution

## **FAA Remote ID (US customers only)**

From March 16, 2024, all drone pilots, including those flying for business or public safety, must operate their drones in accordance with the FAA Remote ID rules. This system update brings Remote ID compatibility. Initially before flying, the operator must register the UAS with the FAA by submitting the system's unique Remote ID serial number.

## **Security and Reliability Improvements**

* Reduce the number of safety landings due to the Secondary Autopilot problems.
* Fix the Roof Top Box false movement detection bug.
* Report better warnings related to the Ground station and Secondary Autopilot problems, and give more time for the user to read.
* Faster reaction when there is high wind in an environment where the GPS is not available.
* Reduce the number of off-base landings due to communication issues between the Ground Station and the Kite.
* Reduce likelihood of an aborted takeoff.
